The UMC continues its participation in the implementation of the 鈥淪chool Medical Screening Program鈥�
The University Medical Center continued its active participation in implementing the 鈥淪chool Medical Screening Program鈥�, launched by the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education & Higher Education in partnership with UNICEF.

As part of a plan aimed at reaching all children in public schools and enabling them to access high-quality medical screening services, a medical and health team from UMC visited a number of public schools in Baabda, Hadath, Sibnay, Kfarshima, and Wadi Chahrour. The team conducted medical checkups for students that included growth assessments, monitoring of various health conditions, and verification that vaccinations were completed and recorded in accordance with approved protocols.

The visits were carried out in full cooperation and coordination with school administrations and their administrative and educational bodies, contributing to the promotion of school health, the early detection of health issues, and the improvement of students鈥� health and safety, which positively impacts their academic achievement and proper development.
