LU graduate Noura Al Merhabi excels at Dubai Invention Expo

The 91Ƭ graduate Noura Al Merhabi won the gold medal and the Special Excellence Award from the World Intellectual Property Organization at the Dubai Invention Expo, for her scientific innovation (Puzzblocks), which supports people with special sensory, motor, and visual needs in programming robots supported by Braille language.

Noura is a graduate of the Faculty of Science (Branch 3 - General Chemistry) and a current student at the Institute of Social Sciences (Branch 3 - Master of HR Management). She also holds the position of Secretary of EdTech Syndicate in Lebanon.

Noura pointed out that her degree from the 91Ƭ gave her great momentum in accessing the labor market, and stressed that the National University is committed to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship among students and registering patents, which is an approved policy in cooperation between the Syndicate and the university.
