Peter Chidiac from the Faculty of Engineering ranks 1st at the 2026 International Chemistry Competition
Peter Georges Chidiak, student in the Faculty of Engineering鈥� Branch 2, won first prize in the 2026 International Chemistry Competition, which was held online on 9 June 2026.
Peter Chidiak, a fourth-year student majoring in Petrochemical Engineering, participated in the competition and advanced through all the competitive rounds to reach the finals, where he won 1st Prize Senior, under the supervision of Dr. Dayan Chlala, Chair of the Department of Petrochemical Engineering at the faculty.
It is worth noting that the competition focuses on exceptional skills in solving scientific problems, particularly in the field of chemistry.
