Date of entrance exam for the master at the Faculty of Pedagogy for the academic year 2026–2027
The Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy announces the dates for the entrance exams for the M1 for the academic year 2026–2027, as follows:
1- Written exams in general culture in both Arabic and a foreign language will be held on Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
2- Oral exams will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, 22 and 23 July 2026.
3- Applications should be submitted online from Monday, 25 May 2026, through Thursday, 16 July 2026, via the following link:
4- Applications may be submitted in person at the deanship: From Monday, 1 June 2026, through Friday, 17 July 2026, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Required documents:
- Certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate (Section II) or its equivalent
- Certified copy of a bachelor’s degree in the required field
- Certified copy of the university bachelor’s degree transcript
- Certificate of equivalence for the bachelor’s degree, certified by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education – General Directorate of Higher Education (for graduates of private universities)
- Two official copies of the work experience statement in accordance with the required conditions: one is to be submitted to the Student Affairs Department upon submission of the application, and the other is to be brought to the oral interview to be presented to the examination committee
- Individual civil status record or certified copy of ID card
- (2) Two certified passport photos
- Financial stamp worth LBP 50,000

Announcement No. 4/T on the conditions for accepting applications for the entrance exam for M1 in the accredited tracks at the Faculty of Pedagogy for the academic year 2026–2027
The Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy announces the criteria for accepting applications for M1 for the academic year 2026–2027 at the Faculty of Pedagogy, as follows:
First: For Master’s degree students in the following tracks (teaching subjects):
1- Middle and Secondary Education:
- Teaching Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Arabic Language & Literature, French Language & Literature, English Language & Literature, History, Geography, Civics, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy and Civilizations:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
2- Teaching French language to university students (DIFLU):
- Holding a university degree with a minimum GPA of 60/100 in one of the following specializations: Teaching French at the Elementary Level, French Language & Literature, Translation, Applied Modern Languages, or Comparative Linguistics / Language Education Track.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree with a GPA below 60/100 in one of the following fields: Teaching French at the Elementary Level, French Language & Literature, Translation, Applied Modern Languages, or Comparative Linguistics / Language Education Track, with at least two years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
Or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in Education and Training from the Faculty of Pedagogy at the 91Ƭ with a minimum GPA of 60/100 in one of the following specializations: Teaching Sciences at the Elementary Level (French), or Teaching Mathematics at the Elementary Level (French), or Early Childhood Education (French), provided that the student has pursued their studies within the framework of the “Training of Teachers for Kindergarten and Elementary Education in Multiple Disciplines” (Polyvalence) project in collaboration with the French Embassy.
Second: For Master’s degree students in the following tracks: Educational Administration, Educational Supervision, School Counseling, Special Education, Sports Management, Music Education, and Educational Technology:
1- Educational Administration and Educational Supervision:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education with a minimum GPA of 65/100.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education with a minimum GPA of 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100) and at least two years of experience in the education sector after graduation.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education with a GPA below 60/100, along with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector after graduation.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in any other field (other than education) with a GPA of 60/100 or higher and at least two years of experience in the education sector after graduation, or with a GPA below 60/100 and at least five years of experience in the education sector after graduation.
2- School Counseling:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or sociology, with a minimum GPA of 65/100.
Or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or sociology, with a GPA of at least 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), along with at least two years of experience in the education sector after graduation.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or sociology, with a cumulative GPA below 60/100, along with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
3. Special Education:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, speech-language pathology, psychomotor therapy, or occupational therapy, with a minimum GPA of 65/100.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, speech therapy, psychomotor therapy, or occupational therapy, with a minimum GPA of 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), with at least two years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, speech therapy, psychomotor therapy, or occupational therapy, with an overall grade of less than 60/100, along with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
4- Sports Management:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in physical education and sports with a minimum GPA of 65/100.
or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports with a cumulative GPA of at least 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), with at least two years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
Or
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Physical and Sports Education with a cumulative GPA below 60/100, along with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
5. Music Education:
A. For holders of a bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, Music Arts, or Musicology:
- The cumulative GPA should be no less than 65/100
or
- A GPA of no less than 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), with at least two years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
Or
- A GPA below 60/100, with at least five years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
B. For holders of a bachelor’s degree in education (in any specialization other than “music education”):
- The overall GPA should be no less than 65/100.
Or
- The overall GPA should be no less than 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), with at least two years of experience in the education sector after obtaining the bachelor’s degree.
or
- An overall GPA below 60/100, with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector following graduation.
In addition, the student should have completed:
- Level 1 in Harmony.
- Level 2 in instrumental performance.
- The final level of Western Music Theory.
These certificates and/or transcripts should be issued by the National Higher Institute of Music (Conservatory) or a university music institute, and no other institution.
6- Educational Technology:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 65/100.
Or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other field, with a minimum GPA of 60/100 (i.e., between 60/100 and 64.9/100), with at least two years of experience in the educational or technological field following graduation.
Or
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, computer engineering, or any other field, with a GPA below 60/100, along with at least 5 years of experience in the educational or technological field following graduation.
