Date of entrance exam for the bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Information for the academic year 2026鈥�2027
The Dean of the Faculty of Information announces that the entrance exams for the bachelor's degree program for the academic year 2026鈥�2027 will be held on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, at the Faculty of Science Building 鈥� Branch 2 鈥� Fanar.
Applications will be accepted between 22 June and 30 July 2026, inclusive, and between 1-10 September 2026 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Exam Schedule
The entrance exam schedule for the first year at the Faculty of Information includes a bachelor鈥檚 degree in the following majors: Journalism and Media Studies, Public Relations & Corporate Communication, Advertising & Marketing Communication, Data Management, and Data Science. The following exams are included:
- Written Text Analysis in Arabic (1.5 hours)
- Written Text Analysis in a foreign language (1.5 hours)
- General knowledge exam (in the major) for all majors except Data Science (1.5 hours)
- Mathematics exam, SG, SV, SE programs in a foreign language (1.5 hours) for Data Science students
Applications should be submitted in person at the branch of the student's choice or via the website:
The following required documents should be uploaded:
- (1) passport photo
- Original individual civil status record issued between 2025 or 2026 or certified copy thereof or passport or residency for foreigners (provided that the original is presented at registration)
- Certified copy of Lebanese Baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent or copy of nomination document for the official Baccalaureate exams for the academic year 2025鈥�2026, or school transcript for the academic year 2025鈥�2026
The student completes the registration process by visiting the branch selected by the applicant from among the faculty's two branches:

Certified copy of Lebanese Baccalaureate certificate or its equivalent, or copy of nomination document for the official Baccalaureate exams for the academic year 2025鈥�2026, or school transcript for the academic year 2025鈥�2026
Financial stamp worth LBP 50,000
Entrance exam registration fee of LBP 1,000,000 payable at LibanPost after completing the application
Eligibility to participate in the competition is open to students who hold:
The Lebanese Baccalaureate (Section II) or its equivalent, or a receipt of registration with the Ministry of Education; and foreign students who hold an official equivalency for the high school diploma obtained in their home country.
Note:
Eligible students should arrive at the Faculty of Science building at 7:30 am on 15 September 2026, with the following:
- Exam card
- ID card or original individual civil status record issued between 2025 and 2026 or valid passport for Lebanese students or residency for foreigners
- Payment receipt issued by LibanPost
- Non-programmable calculator for data science students only
