The FLPAS - Branch 2 Wins the Model Youth Parliament 2026 Award

Mansour Georges Abi Khalil, from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences – Branch 2, won the MYP Award at the 11th edition of the Model Youth Parliament program in 2026.

 

The program is organized by the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation in collaboration with the USJ - Beirut. It trains more than 120 young men and women from various universities and specializations in legislative and parliamentary work, including proposing and amending laws in parliamentary committees and voting on them in the plenary session within parliament.

 

At the conclusion of the program, the results were as follows:

Program Award: Mansour Georges Abi Khalil / 2nd year Master’s student in Private Law.

Certificate of Excellence: Charbel Hagob Mardirossian: 1st year undergraduate student in Law & Political Science.

 

It is worth noting that Charbel Elias Zeayter, a 2nd year student in the master’s program in Private Law, had won the program in its 9th edition in 2024.
